Event Description

In this fun, hands-on art program, children will explore the colorful world of abstract painting inspired by the works of Alma Woodsey Thomas, an African American artist known for her vibrant, geometric patterns and expressive use of color. Through guided activities and art-making, kids will learn to express emotions and stories through abstract art, while gaining an understanding of how color, shape, and repetition can communicate meaning. Seating is limited. Registration is required.
